The new mayor of Maasdriel, Ada Boerma, is the focus of embarrassing publicity following the revelation that she ‘stole’ large parts of her inaugural speech.
Boerma admits she was ‘inspired’ by the speech given by Thom de Graaf when he was appointed mayor of Nijmegen a year ago.
