‘Keep nuclear power option open’
The government must keep the option of nuclear power fully open, says a new report by the country’s general energy council (AER), reports the Financieele Dagblad.
The AER evaluated Dutch energy supplies on three criteria: affordability, reliability and environmental impact. Compared to its neighbours, the Netherlands currently scores poorly all on all three points, said the AER.
