Hotels may not photocopy passports

Dutch hotels are breaking privacy laws by taking photocopies of passports and ID cards belonging to their guests, the government’s privacy watchdog said on Wednesday.


The question was raised by the US embassy in The Hague which was concerned at the way its guests’ passports were being copied, news agency ANP said.
