Fewer imported brides in Holland

Around 25% of men of Turkish and Moroccan origin married someone from their country of origin in 2006, compared with some 56% in 2001, according to new figures from the national statistics office CBS.


The government has introduced new laws on age and income which make it more difficult to bring in foreign brides.
