Court backs probe of Apax at PCM
The company court in Amsterdam has backed a call by newspaper unions and the works council at publishing group PCM for an investigation into the role of private equity group Apax at the company.
Apax pulled out of PCM at the beginning of 2007. The unions claim the company, which publishes the Volkskrant and NRC, was left in a far worse financial position after Apax pulled out.
