Car thefts down, motorbike thefts up

The number of cars stolen in the Netherlands fell by over 7% last year to almost 12,000 but motorbike thefts were up 11%, says the vehicle theft monitoring group.


Just over 25% of motorbikes were recovered. Most of them were dismantled and sold as parts, the monitoring group said.
