Unemployment continues downward trend

Unemployment in the Netherlands fell to 4.3% between September and November, compared to 5.4% in the same period last year, reports the national statistics office CBS on Tuesday.


The downward trend, which is equal for both men and women, is set to continue, says the CBS.
On an annual basis there were 84,000 fewer people without jobs in the September to November period. Unemployment among men is at 3.2% of the working population and women at 5.1%.
