PSV back at top of football league

PSV is back at the top of the Dutch premier league following its 2-0 victory over NAC of Breda on Sunday.

Rotterdam’s Feyenoord slipped to second place after only managing a 1-1 draw away to SC Heerenveen.
Both Feyenoord and PSV have 36 points but the Eindhoven team has a superior goal average.
Meanwhile, just hanging on to third position are Ajax who drew 2-2 away to lowly-placed VVV Venlo on Sunday. The Amsterdam club have managed only five points from their last five games and are now three points behind PSV.
FC Groningen briefly knocked Ajax from the number three slot on Saturday after a 3-1 victory over Rotterdam’s Sparta.
