ING sells reinsurer to Warren Buffet
The ING financial services group is selling its NRG reinsurance group to Warren Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway Group with a book loss of €100m.
ING has been the sole owner of NRG since 1991 but no longer regards reinsurance as a core business.
