AZ Alkmaar lose to Nürnberg in UEFA Cup
AZ Alkmaar lost 2-1 to FC Nürnberg in the UEFA Cup on Wednesday night and must now beat English club Everton to be certain of making it through to the next round.
Nürnberg, currently bottom of the German league, were dominated by the Dutch team in the first half, but the Alkmaar squad only managed to score once.
Seven minutes before time, the Germans scored, adding a second goal two minutes later.
