2007 does not beat warmest year record

The average temperature at the KNMI’s De Bilt meteorological office in 2007 was 11.2 degrees, the same as 2006, the weather bureau said on Friday.


January and April were the warmest on record while December was colder than average, the KNMI said.
The warmest temperature recorded was 32.9 degrees in Maastricht. The coldest was on December 22 in Eindhoven, when the temperature fell to 9.8 degrees below zero.
