Wet summer hits bike firm Accell
Dutch bicycle manufacturers Accell has adjusted its profit forecast for 2007 downwards, reports ANP news agency on Tuesday.
The company is now projecting profits of between 25% and 35%, instead of the earlier forecast of 35%.
CEO René Takens says the wet summer has depressed sales, particularly in the Netherlands. Accell makes Batavus and Sparta bikes.
