Van den Brand keeps European cycling title
Daphny van den Brand held on to her European cyclo-cross title at the European championships in Switzerland on Sunday.
Ven den Brand, 29, was favourite to win the title after her main rival Marianne Vos, the 2005 title holder, opted to focus on track events for the Beijing Olympics.
