Redundancy reform may be delayed

Ministers may decide to delay controversial reforms to redundancy law because no way can be found out of the political impasse, the AD reports on Tuesday.

The paper says the Christian Democrats are prepared to drop the reforms, drawn up by CDA minister Piet Hein Donner, if Labour finance minister Wouter Bos changes his plans to curb executive pay.
