PSV loses 2-0 to Fenerbahçe

Eindhoven’s PSV lost 2-0 to the Istanbul team Fenerbahçe in Turkey on Wednesday evening with both goals coming in the first half and little chance of recovery for the Dutch team.

The result means PSV is third in its group with four points and two matches to go in European Champions League. PSV is four points behind Fenerbahçe and five points group leader Internazionale.
PSV has lost both the games it has played under interim trainer Jan Wouters following Ronald Koeman’s surprise departure for the Spanish club Valencia last week.
According to Thursday’s Telegraaf, Martin Jol, PSV first choice to replace Koeman, has turned down the job. It says the club now has its eye on FC Twente trainer Fred Rutten.
