Probe into alternative cancer therapy

The public prosecution department is investigating the death of a 58-year-old woman who died in hospital shortly after receiving alternative treatment for breast cancer in a private clinic in Bilthoven, reports today’s Volkskrant.

According to the justice department, the woman did not die of natural causes, the paper reports.
The health inspectorate has investigated the Kliniek voor Preventieve Geneeskunde Berg &en Bosch where she had alternative treatment, but does not have the authority to close the clinic down, a spokeswoman told the Volksrant.
