Priests don’t need good behaviour proof
Catholic priests and other church workers who come into contact with children do not have to supply a certificate of good behaviour (VOG), justice minister Ernst Hirsch Ballin said on Tuesday.
Hirsch Ballin said churches and mosques had already taken sufficient measures to rule out the sexual abuse of children by staff and volunteers.
