Kroes third most powerful woman
European competition commissioner and former Dutch minister Neelie Kroes is the third most powerful woman in the world according to The Wall Street Journal’s ‘women-to-watch’ rankings.
Kroes was chosen because of her stance against the mighty Microsoft which she fined €497m. She is also top ranked European woman.
