Job vacancies hit a record
The number of job vacancies in the Netherlands hit 236,000 at the end of September, a record high, says national statistics office CBS.
At the same time, the jobless total has been falling by some 5,000 a month and is now around 307,000, the CBS says.
The official Dutch unemployment rate is now 4%, compared with 5.2% a year ago.
