Holland has 16,500 million euro houses
The Netherlands has 16,500 houses worth €1m or more according to figures published on Tuesday by the central statistics agency CBS.
This represents a quarter of one percent of the housing stock. The most expensive houses are in Utrecht and the cheapest in Groningen, says the CBS.
The government is planning to increase the tax on homes worth over one million euros.
