Almost half the populationare unhappy when confronted by two men kissing and 30% are upset by two women embracing, according to figures from the government’s social policy advisory unit SCP.

Some 48% of orthodox Christians disapprove of homosexuality in general, as do 30% of people with Turkish nationality and 26% with Moroccan nationality.
