Dutch-based renewable energy developer Econcern is to build a major offshore wind park in the German section of the North Sea together with the German firm Palmbeck, reports today’s Financieele Dagblad.
The 80-turbine facility will cost hundreds of millions of euros. Part of this will come from the €500m Ampere fund set up with cash from Dutch pension funds ABP and PGGM.
