Clip-on bike lamps get green light
Police chiefs have decided not to clamp down on cyclists who wear bike lamps attached to their bags or clothing, following widespread protests.
While such lights will still remain technically illegal, cyclists will not be fined if they can be properly seen at night, a police spokesman said.
