Cartel fines should be doubled, say MPs
MPs want to double the fines which the competition authority can levy on companies found guilty of price fixing from 10% of turnover to 20%, NOS tv reported on Thursday.
Christian Democrat and Labour MPs also want to make it easier for consumers to claim damages from companies which operate as a cartel.
