Amsterdam takes stake in Fabchannel

Amsterdam city council and investment group Foreman Capital are taking a 25% stake in Fabchannel, an entertainment company which broadcasts live concert footage from the city’s concert halls via the internet.

‘Our stake will make culture more accessible to Amsterdammers and the rest of the world,’ said city council culture executive Carolien Gehrels. The city council now has a stake in 41 private and publically-owned companies.
