Al-Mansouri will get fair trial, says Iran
Dutch human rights activist Abdullah Al-Mansouri who faces charges of terrorism in Iran, will get a normal trial according to the Iranian embassy in The Hague, reports the Volkskrant.
It is the first time the Iranian authorities have made a public statement about Al-Mansouri, the paper says.
The embassy said Al-Mansouri has been allocated a lawyer by the Iranian court after refusing to appoint his own and that the trial will be open to the public except when issues of national security are discussed.
