Insurance company Aegon is preparing a bid for Zwitserleven, the Dutch arm of Swiss Life which was put up for sale at the beginning of October, reports Friday’s Telegraaf.
The paper says Aegon is putting the final touches to its offer, which will be announced after its Q3 earnings are published next Thursday.
Zwitserleven is valued at between €1bn and €1.4bn, say market experts.
