Sneijder and Persie back in national squad

Dutch national football coach Marco van Basten will be shuffling his players again for the European Cup qualification match against Slovenia on Wednesday in Eindhoven.

Following the team’s 1-0 defeat against Romania on Saturday, goalkeeper Boy Waterman and defender Khalid Boulahrouz have been dropped.
Van Basten is still missing Mario Melchiot through injury and Ruud van Nistelrooy, Joris Mathijsen and Giovanni van Bronckhorst through suspension. Back in the team from suspension are Wesley Sneijder and Robin van Persie.
The Dutch have three more qualification matches to play, against Slovenia, Luxemburg and Belarus, and if they score at least seven points, they will be through to the playoffs.
