SER chairman warns on school segregation
The Netherlands is well on the way to developing a segregated educational system, says Alexander Rinnooy Kan, chairman of the government’s advisory body SER, in Thursday’s NRC.
Rinnooy Kan said that the idea that talented children from an ethnic minority background have the same chances in higher education as native Dutch children was ‘painfully wrong’.
