Online music ‘pirate’ shut down
Dutch and British police have shut down what is said to be one of the world’s biggest online sources of pirated music.
The invitation-only OiNK website specialises in distributing albums which have been released before the official date they are due to go public.
The suspected operator has been arrested in northeast England and the website’s servers in Amsterdam have been shut down, the international record industry association IFPI said.
