Mushroom ban protest mounts

Over 10,000 people have so far emailed ministers protesting about the planned ban on the sale of hallucenogenic mushrooms, according to website (save the shroom).

The cabinet said on Friday that fresh mushrooms were to be made illegal and placed under the opium laws. Dried mushrooms are already banned.
