Some 15% of employees say they regularly work overtime and 30% say the amount of extra hours they put in has risen sharply over the past two years, according to a poll for jobs magazine Volkskrant Banen.

Around 5% say they work a couple of extra hours every evening. And two out of three people say they have gone into work when they have not been feeling well.
