Higher earnings for TomTom target Tele Atlas

Digital map maker Tele Atlas booked operating profit of €15m in the third quarter of 2007, up 35% on the previous year. Turnover was up 14% at €74m.


Satnav maker TomTom has offered €21.25 a share for Tele Atlas but investors are speculating on a higher or rival offer.
Tele Atlas was trading at €23 on Tuesday morning.
