Fortis rights issue a success
Dutch-Belgian financial services group Fortis said on Thursday it had a 98% take-up for its new rights issue aimed at financing its share of the takeover of ABN Amro bank.
In total, Fortis issued over 878 million new shares at €15 each, raising €13bn.
