Integration minister Ella Vogelaar is to talk to employers about how they can help Polish and other eastern European staff learn Dutch.

The increasing number of eastern European children at Dutch schools are performing badly because they have not learned Dutch, Vogelaar said.
But she told MPs it was impossible to force eastern Europeans to take compulsory language lessons or parental guidance classes because they are EU citizens.
