The Dutch top the list in Europe when it comes to going to the theatre – 58% said they had been to a performance at least once in the past year, according to a survey by European statistics agency Eurostat.

Holland also scores the highest when it comes to jobs in the cultural sector. Almost 4% of the Dutch working population have a job in the arts.
