Construction group Heijmans lowers profit forecast
Construction concern Heijmans lowered its full year profit forecast on Friday because of continuing problems at its building division.
The company now expects full-year earnings to reach €55m, almost half its earlier estimate of €95m.
Heijmans blames a sharp increase in costs as a result of delays and problems with supplies and subcontractors for the earnings cut.
The company is due to give a formal trading update on November 14, but says there is no reason to doubt that its expected turnover of €3.8bn will not be achieved.
