Central bank gets female director

Joanne Kellerman, 47, a former partner at law firm Nauta Dutilh, has been appointed head of insurance and pension fund supervision at the Dutch central bank.

The heavyweight appointment makes her the first female member of the DNB board.
The finance ministry and central bank have put the pensions sector at the heart of their plans to boost the Netherlands’ reputation as an international financial centre.
