Top managers at post and logistics company TNT will put some of their bonuses into a special fund to help staff affected by the company’s reorganisation, CEO Peter Bakker said in a letter to staff on Friday.

There has been widespread criticism of a decision to pay executives large bonuses at a time when ordinary workers have been told to accept a wage freeze.
