Dutch police have arrested a member of the banned Kurdistan Workers’ Party PKK at the request of the French authorities. The man, who is wanted on charges of financing and organising the group’s activities, apparently left France at the end of August.
He was found hiding with supporters in the Zuid-Holland town of De Lier. He will be extradited to France, the public prosecution department said.
