Nedcar staff on shorter working week
The 1,450 employees at the NedCar factory in Born are to reduce their working hours because of the fall in car sales, reports ANP news service on Monday.
The company and unions have agreed that 75% of the lost hours will be made up in the future when sales pick up of the Mitsubishi Colt which the factory makes. Nedcar stressed that it still intends to sell 70,000 cars annually.
