Icelandic group has 43% of Stork
Icelandic investment fund LME, backed by the Marel industrial group, has expanded its stake in Dutch engineering firm Stork to 43.3%.
It is now extremely unlikely that British investment company Candover will succeed it its bid for Stork.
Originally Candover said it would regard its €47 a share offer as successful if 80% of shares were tendered, but later lowered this to 65%.
