Holland has 2,500 Muslim activists
The Netherlands has a potential 2,500 Muslim activists, home affairs minister Guusje ter Horst told MPs late on Wednesday.
The minister based her statement on figures from the AIVD security service. The AIVD says in total between 20,000 and 30,000 people are susceptible to Salafism, which it describes as an orthodox stream of Islam and a breeding ground for extremists.
