Increases in eco-tax on energy will push up gas and electricity bills by between €10 and €20 next year, according to latest leaks from the budget published by public broadcaster NOS.

The cabinet has already said it wants a reduction in energy consumption by 2% a year. It also wants renewable power to account for 20% of all production in 2020.
The budget will officially be presented on September 18.
