Dutch people get Big Brother award
Citizens rights lobby group Bits of Freedom has awarded its sixth Big Brother award for the person doing the most to damage the privacy to the entire Dutch population for being ‘totally uninterested in who holds information about them’.
The corporate award went to Dutch Rail (NS) for its new ticket smart card which enables it to monitor passenger movements, store the information and use it, Bits of Freedom said.
