Bus firms in trouble over trains

The province of Gelderland has fined bus company Connexxion €160,000 for failing to run agreed train services between Ede and Amersfoort during the first two weeks of September.


And the province of Groningen is sending in undercover inspectors to check if Arriva operated trains on routes to Delfzijl are over-full. Arriva says it is using extra trains and buses in an effort to solve the shortage of capacity.
