Baby boomers spend, spend, spend
Pensioners are spending more on having a good time and leaving money less to their children according to a survey by the homeowners’ organisation Eigen Huis, insurance company Aegon and the Postbank.
The results, published in Friday’s Telegraaf, show that people between the age of 50 and 65 think it is more important to continue with their current lifestyle than to leave a large inheritance for their children.
