Van Bommel sorry about German ‘joke’
Dutch international footballer Mark van Bommel has told the Telegraaf he is very sorry about a ‘joking’ remark made on tv on Monday night in which he said he would like to become German. The Bayern Munich midfielder said he did not want to play for the Netherlands under coach Marco van Basten.
