Trade surplus rises to €3.8bn
Dutch trade surplus was up to €3.8bn in June, according to figures published by the government statistics office CBS on Wednesday.
The value of exports was €29.4bn, an increase of 8% on June 2006. Imports in June this year were 6% higher at €25.6bn.
The trade in chemical products is continuing to do particularly well this year, the CBS said.
