Renault advertising campaign backfires

Hundreds of angry women have complained to car manufacturer Renault after receiving letters purporting to come from a friend reminiscing about a trip to Paris.

The letter was in fact part of an advertising campaign for the new Twingo. Some 30,000 letters were sent and Renault is now writing 30,000 apologies.
